A Yoruba-biased radio station has been opened in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, with a view to saving the Yoruba language from going into extinction. The radio station which devotes 50 per cent of its air time to Yoruba programmes, 30 per cent to Pidgin English and 20 per cent to English Language was set up by a veteran broadcaster, Otunba Ayodeji Osibogun.
