Oyo to benefit from N2bn fund


Governor Abiola Ajimobi, of Oyo State State, yesterday said that the state would soon benefit from a Central Bank intervention fund worth N2 billion. Ajimobi said this at a one-day synergy conference held at Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan. The governor said the gesture would support the growth of small and medium enterprises investors in the state. Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Olalekan Ali, Ajimobi said the fund was being processed by the state, adding that CBN would soon disburse the money. …As Ogun completes 2 new bridges
The two flyover bridges being constructed by Ogun State Government at Itoku and Sapon in Abeokuta have been completed. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Olamilekan Adegbite, who disclosed this in Abeokuta, also said the two bridges would be opened to traffic soon, bringing to three, the flyover bridges completed by the Governor Ibikunle Amosun government so far. According to him, the flyover bridges were constructed to tackle the incessant traffic bottleneck often experienced around the two areas considered as the commercial nerve centres of the State capital.
