Davido denies assaulting Kizz Daniel’s manager
It was earlier reported that Kizz Daniel’s manager, Tumi Lawrence, was attacked by Davido at his concert which held at Eko Atlantic on December 27, 2018.
Tumi had taken to his social media handles to call out the DMW boss but he did not explain what had transpired between them. A Twitter user identified as Peter (@peteruonion) took to his handle to claim that Davido had slapped Tumi at the backstage which is why Kizz Daniel did not perform because he left the show.
However, Davido has finally spoken up about the case. He took to Tumi’s Instagram page to explain how he has always been good to people and he also implored the manager to tell the truth on what really happened.
“davidoofficial: Thank you … you and I know fully well I did not touch you … call me names all you want YOU KNOW IVE BEEN NOTHING BUT GOOD AND SUPPORTIVE TO YOU GUYS … Paint me BAD all you want THE WORLD KNOW SAY MY HEART PURE !! I guess you guys have gotten wat u wanted all that while !! THIS ONE PAIN ME !!! I always put everyone before me just to be mixed up in something you caused .. Do the right thing . Tell the truth .”
Tumi was having none of it and he also replied, telling Davido to stop being dishonest. He further asked what a tout was doing in the green room at the show. A green room is a waiting room for performers before and after a show. He wrote:
“_tumilawrence: @davidoofficial Don’t even try to f*cking lie! Don’t try it!!!!”
“_tumilawrence: @davidoofficial who the f*ck brings tout to the green room! We’ve shown you nothing but love! Do the right thing man!”
