Photos from the Global Shapers Community world Malaria day in Ibadan
Yes, we did it!
The Ibadan Hub of World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community joined the rest of the world to mark the World Malaria Day on Monday 25th April, 2016
We started with a 30 day Online campaign via our Social media platforms and rounded it up with a sensitization project and distribution of Insecticide Treated Nets at Oje Market, Ibadan.
The Market was chosen as a result of our Needs assessment analysis. There is a high prevalence of Malaria in the community. Insecticide treated nets were distributed to pregnant women, nursing mothers and children within the community.
We joined the world to #EndMalariaForGood which is the theme of this year’s event.
We are Global Shapers, we are #ShapingIbadan and #ShapingHealth!
