Ladoja to contest presidential poll result
About two weeks after the last Presidential and National Assembly (NASS) elections in Oyo State, the former governor of the state and the Accord governorship candidate in the Saturday gubernatorial elections, Rashidi Ladoja says his party would challenge the last elections’ results at the Election Petition Tribunal. The All Progressives Congress (APC) cleared the three senatorial and 12 out of the 14 House of Representatives’ seats in the state but the Accord party chieftain insisted that there were abundant evidence to prove that the elections were fraught with ‘massive and scientific rigging’.
The former governor made this disclosure yesterday while fielding questions from journalists on the election and preparation for the last leg of the election holding thois Saturday.
According to him, “we have assembled abundant materials to show that the presidential and National Assembly elections in the state were massively rigged, there were also scientific rigging. All these, we will tender at the tribunal.
