Shooting Stars of Ibadan latest signing, Rasheed Olabiyi, has said the club’s sloppy performance in the top flight is a passing phase as they will rediscover their rhythm at Nasarawa in Week 4 away clash. Olabiyi who recently joined Shooting from Enyimba FC of Aba said the club and the new players added to the fray were yet to click adding the former league champions would be unstoppable as soon as they find their form. “We are facing a rough time now, but I am very convinced that everything will soon be over. We are going to make a bold statement starting from our away tie against Nasarawa United FC next weekend,” Olabiyi told Goal after 3SC lifted the Oyo state FA Cup.

“The new players signed by the club are yet to get the proper coordination. 3SC will bounce back sooner than expected,” he affirmed.

Olabiyi opined he was thrilled that the Oluyole Warriors have secured a title already in the season but he was not part of those decorated, because he was not registered for the competition.

“We have made a statement with the win in the FA Cup final and we shall show through our form that 3SC do not deserve to be at the bottom of the league table. I was not registered for the State FA Cup because my clearance was not processed on time but I am happy for the team for the win over Crown FC,” he concluded.

The Ibadan side began the season with so much promise, but they have thus far failed to convince their fans after two games in the current campaign where they are still without a point.
